is a training and consulting company that offers specialized technical training in hydraulics, hydrostatics, pneumatics, electronics. Established in 1980, FPTA, LLC has provided training to many leading companies and government agencies, including Boise Cascade, ARCO 
Petroleum, Weyerhaeuser, Teledyne - Wah Chang, Auburn University, Kaiser Aluminum, Georgia Pacific, Scott Paper, Alabama Power, John Deere, Hormel, Gulf Power, Alaska, Florida and Nebraska Departments of Transportation, City of Minneapolis, Utah Power & Light, FLAGFA (Florida Association of Government Fleet Administrators), Bonneville Power Administration, Carolina Power and Light, Caltrans, Los Angeles Dept. of Water & Power, Glacier National Park, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, City Of Phoenix, City Of Yuma, City Of Tacoma, City Of Seattle, RMFMA, Ohio Edison, TVA and many others. FPTA, LLC provides training through its nationwide workshop series and by way of onsite training programs tailored to meet specific customer needs.
FPTA, LLC class sizes are intentionally kept small (limited to 16 students). Not only do our instructors get to know their students, but the small group atmosphere provides for plenty of interaction and question-and-answer opportunities.
Qualified instructors and easy-to-understand training materials are not cheap, but they don’t need to be expensive either. Our training programs are not only attractively priced, but are also easily justified in your training budget. Jim Lane, Fleet Services Manager at Utah Power and Light, told us that sending 62 maintenance people to our ‘Basic Hydraulics’ program produced a million dollars in savings.

George Lonner is founder of FPTA, LLC. He has degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Minnesota. He has taught at Gonzaga University, Whitworth College, Auburn University and Washington State University. He has over 40 years of field and in-plant fluid power experience, including 20 years with Parker Hannifin, where he was responsible for developing company activities in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean. Since founding FPTA, LLC in 1980, Mr. Lonner has taught over 900 fluid power training programs worldwide. Mr. Lonner is a certified Fluid Power Instructor and Consultant.
