- FPTA LLC is forming a joint venture with Weihai HHH, a fluid power distributor and manufacturing company located in Weihai, China. Weihai HHH will represent FPTA LLC throughout China and possibly other countries of Asia. We will train two of their engineers to become instructors.
- Nestor Javier, formerly Superintendent of Potlines Maintenance and Planning Department of Dubai Aluminum in Dubai has agreed to become the marketing manager of FPTA LLC for the Middle East. He will promote the sale of CDs, books,”FAST II” trainers and training programs in eleven countries of the Middle East including the gulf emirates.
- FPTA LLC has developed a new low cost hydraulic trainer. This unit is designed for schools and companies with limited budgets but who wish to have a very professional hands-on bench mounted trainer. Pictures and specifications can be viewed on our website here. It has been designated as Model 1HS. This trainer is the sixth model in our “FAST II” series, all of which can be viewed on the website.
- Irene Piconke has been named Domestic Training Program Manager. Irene will be responsible for all training program scheduling throughout the U.S.
- FPTA LLC has created a new “How to Read Fluid Power Schematics” CD and collateral book. This CD and book can be ordered from the web site.
